The Unforseen

You have a plan for your life.  A pretty good one.

Everything is arranged and in motion.

.....and then something happens....

The Unforseen.

Right now due to economical situations...

Our family made up our minds to support

Hubby/Dad while he traveled for work.

Trying to get his family's financial situation back on track,

he decided to change career paths and accept

a traveling position with a large company.

By careful budgeting and sacrificing of our comfort zone,

we are on track to Feel the freedom of being

financially stable Approx  1 year from now.

If you only knew how much sacrifice and
discipline this will take....

If you only knew the numbers....

But if you know my Family...

If  you could know how much this means to us...
if you only knew exactly what we have gone through...
what we had to give up temporarily....

what we have had to let go of  for now
in order to  be where we want to be long term...

You would understand how important it is to make this

happen.  Not Later....

NOW!

This Year.

We began traveling in sept. of 09.

You might not think that is very long...

It has been a doozy to say the least.

BUT WE WERE DETERMINED NOT TO SACRIFICE

OUR FAMILY BEING ALL TOGETHER

JUST FOR THE SAKE OF TEMPORAL

ISSUES...MONEY....

so we all committ to travel... as a family... for a year...

....AND THEN THE UNFORSEEN
HAPPENS.

An 11 yr old boy in our hotel, that we have grown to know quite well,  was pulled into
a hotel room by a man who didn't have the best
of intentions on his mind.

 by  the grace of God,
that little boy got away.

The man was arrested within minutes.

It stirred me up into near hysterics.

Everything i have always swore to do,
as far as protecting my children, the best i can,
 at all costs,
from that type of predator.....

from things that i went through...

What if it was my child?
What if ?

The odds are not in our favor
living in a hotel with such neighbors that
we have right now....

?????

I am battling coming home with the kids.

i don't wanna break up the family ...

but  i cannot ignore the pain

that this situation  has stirred up

in my heart.

this happened 3 doors down from us.

i know bad thngs happen everywhere...

but HOME  sounds pretty safe right now.

I dont wanna "cop out"  on

our plan.....  but i also dont wanna
put my family in unecessary danger...

????

so torn...

The kids and i might be on our way home.

?????

life isnt always cut and dry...
plans cant always be followed through with....

because of the

Unforseen.
and
the
Unthinkable.....

i've got some praying to do.

  3. Shell- Sorry! That is very scary! HOWEVER..nowhere is completely safe. This incident could also have happened at home. I think where you are, and doing what you are doing, you are watching over your kids better than if they were at school all day, running up and down the street in your "safe" neighborhood. We can't protect our kids 24/7..but, we do our best, and pray for divine help.
You have every right to be freaking out! This may just be a reminder to be more dilligent. If your gut tells you to come home...I will (selfishly) be happy..but do what is best for your family..your heart will tell you.
