We went to the Sacramento Zoo
with Matt's boss and his family.
The kids had a blast.
We got kicked out of the bird demonstration after
Kie ran over the bird's box with the stroller...
and My rebel hubby dropped a cheez-it on the
ground and the parrot ate it...
(i swear i can't take that man anywhere!) ;)
We were "on the fence" before the zoo....
but after seeing all the cute animals...
We "looked inside our hearts" and found
a spot for a new pet of our own....

We are making the most of our
choice to travel and homeschool....
We have so much fun exploring all
that our surroundings have to offer!

Tanner wants a guinea pig or a hamster SO BAD!!! You'll have to keep us posted on how it goes actually owning one. Are they stinky?
