Happy Campers & Words to Live by

A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes."

~  Hugh Downs

Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.

The proof is in the pudding though right?
I had to sell my dream home and am living in a hotel right now.  Yet even still ,  I have found myself  thinking...

"i am the luckiest girl in the World"....

I feel alive and well!
Happiness is one of the best choices i make!

  2. Happiness is, indeed, a matter of perspective. And, gratitude is a state of mind. Wish it were easier to always have the perspective and state of mind, but I keep trying! Your blog is inspiring and sweet, and your children are beautiful! You are brave gypsies, thanks for sharing the adventure.

  5. Not sure why I popped over here, too, today. But I thought I would share that my mom, too, had to leave her dream home (the one that is currently in a lot of my Wednesday posts where the whole family is standing in front of a big home in Texas). Anyway, she put hundreds of hours into that home, both inside and out. But eventually my dad's employment ended there and we had to move. Every time my mom would talk about that home, her eyes would sparkle. I'm sure it was very very hard on her. But as they say..."the show must go on"...or in this case..."life must go on". I appreciate your sweet attitude about it.

  7. I love your quotes. I love your attitude. My husband and I had to sell the wonderful home we raised our five children in. It was hard..and so emotional! But, we are together. We have five great healthy children. We, too are happy. You are so right. You can sit around and wallow in unhappiness or you can choose to find the good in life. Your children learn what you teach them through example. You are setting a great example!
