Not Just For Looks

There are some fancy dancy items in my new lil basement apartment it's true.

They just don't seem to have the same UMPH as they did in my $400,000 home.

But you know me...i love a good contrast...

I dig mixing plain and prissy...

Farmhouse and  Fancy......

But  this piece is not just a pretty face.......

Two days ago my mother was visiting us in our new humbled state

of living....

I was hanging wet laundry all over...

No surface was safe...

Clothes and blankets and towels everywhere !!!!

We have a washer but our Dryer is still getting hooked up....

All of a sudden I reallized what I was doing....

and i Burst into laughter

and exclaimed...........

"Well,   I did not see me doing this a year ago."

I'm like a little Pioneer woman...

(HARDLY,  i'm sure!)

But Closer to one than i use to be.

That is for sure!!!!!
